Rocky Mountain ADA Center (RMADAC) maintains an Advisory Committee to ensure the highest possible effectiveness in fulfilling our grant requirements and meeting the needs of individuals throughout the Rocky Mountain region.

Advisory Group members bring unique knowledge and skills which complement the knowledge and skills of RMADAC staff. Advisors are positioned throughout the 6-state region and the group serves to make recommendations and/or provide key information, connections, or materials to the Center.

Two representatives from each of the six states will be selected to serve as ADA Advisory Group members for a two-year term.


  1. Assist in delivery of regional training
    • Identifying priority locations within your state
    • Serve as a trainer (as appropriate)
    • Publicizing upcoming events
    • Inviting participants within your network
  2. Represent the ADA Center at outreach events in your area (as appropriate)
  3. Review new ADA Center collateral
    • Research reports
    • Training courses
    • Pocket guides
  4. Write 1 blog post per year
    • Topic to focus on disability awareness or ADA implementation within your state
  5. Participate in and share social media
  6. Participate in virtual bimonthly Advisory calls (1.5-hours each)
    • Agenda will be developed with input from advisors
  7. Participation in Region 8 research projects (as appropriate)

  3. Influence into RMADAC initiatives
  4. Opportunity to develop ADA training experience and skills
  5. Covered registration expenses to ADA National Symposium
    • You are responsible for your own travel, hotel, and incidental costs
    • You may send another person in your place with RMADAC approval
  6. Complimentary ADA materials for dissemination upon request
