The Rocky Mountain ADA Center acknowledges the diverse Indigenous peoples whose ancestors lived on the land it serves, including Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, and North Dakota. We express deep gratitude to the Ute, Cheyenne, Arapaho, Apache, Comanche, Pueblo, Goshute, Paiute, Navajo, Shoshone, Crow (Apsáalooke), Blackfeet (Niitsitapi), Assiniboine, Gros Ventre, Lakota, Dakota, Nakota (Sioux), Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara, and various other Nations for their connections to this land. The Center recognizes the historical significance of these territories, where trade, gathering, and healing have been important parts of Indigenous life for countless generations. In honoring the first caretakers of this land, the Rocky Mountain ADA Center honors Elders from the past, present, and future, along with everyone who has protected this land over time. We are committed to creating a space that values and respects the diverse Indigenous histories and cultures that shape the lands of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, and North Dakota.
